The eagle has descended!
Warped Cigars is a brand that has been making waves with Kyle Gellis behind the helm. As one of the youngest brand owners in the biz, he’s always looking to incorporate twists in turns in the premium cigars he blends. The Eagles Descent is no different. For a while, this blend was only available in Hawaii but has now hit the national stage with a few tweaks under the hood.
Blended as a full-bodied cigar and consisting of all Nicaraguan tobaccos initially, the changes made for this national release were all about balancing out the filler leaves to really let the undertones come out. On the inside of this handmade, it has a combination of Jalapa and Esteli fillers that are then bound in a Criollo ’98 binder. Finishing off this dynamic blend, the Corojo ’99 wrapper was chosen. Warped has continued its partnership with Aganorsa Leaf by sourcing the tobaccos used in this blend from them and having the Aganorsa Leaf Factory do the honors of rolling this rare size.
